Open House
The City of Vancouver, BC Housing and Vancouver Coastal Health are looking to put a large withdrawal management services facility at 1636 Clark Drive and 1321-1395 East 1st Avenue, on half of a City block.

An Open House is being held for feedback about the proposed rezoning at the following time and date:

Date: April, 23, 2018 (Monday) from 5pm to 7:30pm
Location: Vancouver Community College (VCC) 1155 East Broadway, Vancouver, Building B (off 7th Ave), RM 1236

A press release notes that a "withdrawal management centre within the planned complex will replace Vancouver Coastal Health’s current withdrawal management services facility on East 2nd Ave. It will include a range of enhanced services such as inpatient and outpatient withdrawal management, and sobering and at-home withdrawal management, which are trauma-informed and culturally appropriate."
